Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein, their jobs are numerous and fascinating to learn about.

Amino acids are arguably the most important molecules in the body. Without amino acids there would be no enzymes. Without enzymes we cannot live. We cannot make DNA without enzymes. We must have DNA to make protein. Without enzymes we cannot make neurotransmitters and most neurotransmitters are derived from amino acids. Of course, we need different proteins throughout our bodies which are made from a chain of different amino acids, each in a very specific order.
