Is Sex Less Enjoyable Nowadays?

Do you or your partner require medication to perform?

Has your sex drive dwindled?

Is arousal in the bedroom not what used to be?

When the “time” arises do you sometimes not rise to it?

Does it seem that life’s stresses have entered the bedroom?

Are you too tired for sex?

Do erectile dysfunction [ED] commercials get your attention?

Have you heard of arginine, an essential amino acid?

Did you know it was “The Molecule of the Year” in 1992?

…………… If you scored high on this one, you are not alone.

The Good news is that nature has given us ARGININE, an amino acid that helps correct many of these issues.

Arginine is one of the most common naturally occurring amino acids, the building blocks of protein.

Arginine regulates or influences the production of the blood compound nitric oxide or NO.

Nitric oxide is a chemical in the bloodstream that leads to increased blood flow through relaxing blood vessels. It is good for the heart as well as increasing genital blood flow, improving arousal.

Nitric oxide is the decisive factor in a man’s ability to acquire and maintain an erection.

Nitric oxide improves genital blood flow for women as well, stimulating arousal.

Nitric oxide can be a free radical, so it is advisable to supplement with Co-enzyme Q10 and other antioxidants like vitamin C, vitamin E and lipoic acid to complement your system.

Arginine itself has a lengthy resume. It improves wound healing, boosts the immune system, invigorates sperm production, smartens cholesterol numbers [reduces LDL, raises HDL], preserves muscle mass, helps out with growth hormone release and even helps heart function.

Arginiine is safe and Non-Toxic, although many recommend taking CoQ10 and other anti-oxidants to protect against free radicals formed by nitric oxide [a natural occurrence]

In studies the usual effective dose is 3 to 5 grams per day, some people require more.

Arginine is available in tablet, capsule and powder form.

I recommend using the capsule version.

[Tablets dissolve slowly and are hard to swallow while the powder has a distinct unpleasant flavor.]

The arginine I recommend comes in a 500mg capsule.

Start with 4 pills in the Am and 4 pills in the PM.

Divide the dose between the morning and night.

Success is usually evident within 3 days.

To Recap:

To achieve full spectrum nutrition we all need to supplement our diets.

Supplements to consider:

1) Get a good multiple vitamin/mineral product. Versions with “Chelated” minerals are best. I also like those with some plant based vitamins.

2) Take a quality Calcium product. Look for MCHA as the calcium source and one that includes Magnesium, vitamin D and some assorted trace minerals.

3) Take Omega 3 oils. Flax oil is the best to start. Adding Krill or fish oil later [BTW – Krill oil in the container has a distinctive odor – if you place 3-4 desiccant packs in the bottle and refrigerate it, the odor is gone in 12 hours]

4) Find a good Colloidal mineral product for trace minerals. Make sure it’s from Humic shale and NOT ionic minerals. Humic shale is the fossilized remains of the dinosaur days – plant based and 98% absorbed.

As always, feel free to comment or message questions or concerns.
